Mental Health and Wellness Fall Festival Physical Accessibility Statement:

As a local grassroots committee, we recognize that physical accessibility to spaces impacts experiences of inclusion and representation among the disabled community. We strongly believe that diverse and inclusive spaces are required in order to truly elevate the mental health and wellness of the entire community.

Thanks to our host, Tyrol Basin, we have accessible parking lots, restrooms, and routes for the Festival. There are four handicap parking spaces available at the base of the Tyrol, where the festival takes place. We will have an accessibility map for people using scooters and wheelchairs. Access Ability Wisconsin is one of our exhibitors, providing three all-terrain wheelchairs for exploring Tyrol's trails. Because Tyrol Basin is a ski resort, there are some steep inclines. We will also have ATVs and UTVs available to transport people from parking areas to the chalet and back to the parking areas. We have also located the equine therapy demonstration immediately adjacent to the handicapped parking area in order to ensure access to that activity.
